Review of Deborah Doucette's "Bad Girls"

Author Deborah Doucette has created a honest, real world novel that is both thrilling and thought provoking. It's a story about families in turmoil and flux. A story about a woman named Rebecca as she learns her husband is having an affair while dealing with a troublesome teenage daughter. Good Mom / Bad Mom ? Fairly typical book in the context of this genre of books but still interesting nonetheless. These characters are both real and flawed. You'll want to strangle them but you will also love them. While this was a poignant and touching book, I didn't feel like it captured my emotions as well as I was expecting, maybe I was expecting too much. In saying that, this book has good writing and a well thought out story. Well done :)
