Review of W.B.J Williams "The Garden at the roof of the World"

"The Garden at the roof of the World" by W.B.J Williams is no ordinary book. The story of Gwenaella who journeys to the Garden at the Roof of the World with a unicorn "Britomar" A great mixture of the different cultures and religions and explores question's of love and lust. It has both intrigue and drama. And while we are introduced to a world different from our own, we feel the parallels and lessons offered by the author acutely. I enjoyed the story, and while I personally prefer more descriptiveness in my novels, I still found myself easily able to imagine what the author was trying to convey. In fact, the whole book played out rather like a movie in my head.  It's an example of the type of deep, complex, but fast-paced fantasy that I crave.
