Review of Kari Aguila's "Women's Work"

"Women's Work" by Kari Aguila is a  captivating read about survival, community and the need for love. This was a much better book than I had expected! Set in the future where the majority of the male population were killed at war, women start to rebuild the world. The reader is taken to a different world where gender roles and stereotypes are reversed. The descriptions of daily life was impressive. The author’s writing style flows beautifully and all her characters are unique. The reactions of people were always realistic and motivations believable as the story weaves its way to a great ending.

  1. "better than I expected..." So cool! Thanks for taking a chance on a new book. It's tough to get the word out about Women's Work, because it doesn't have a huge money publisher behind it. I love word of mouth, and am grateful for your review!
