"Unlocking the Social Potential in Autism" by Karina Poirier is a book that is very easy to read and had great ideas. When it comes to autism, it is difficult to determine a good approach when there is so much information available, and the stakes feel so very high. Author Karina Poirier explains how autism is more complex than what many people believe. This book is written in a clear and thoughtful matter and it is easy to see how her methods would help children with autism. Very teacher friendly and a good recommendation for others. I think everyone should read this book so that they can understand the struggles that parents and children face.
