"Outcasts of the Worlds" by Lucas Aubrey Paynter is a sy-fy journey of epic proportions. This was a very enjoyable read and well thought out tale of survival. And while we are introduced to a world so totally different from our own, we feel the parallels and lessons offered by the author acutely. The charters are developed just enough to help the story line stay interesting. There are a couple of places where predictability rears its head, but such is the case with most novels. At the end we are left with a few unanswered questions so bring on part two :)
