"Whispers of War: The War for the North" by Sean Rodden is a very exciting read. Its a début offering from an author that I hope has a plethora of books left in him. At over 500 pages its a good size book but I ploughed through it - much to the annoyance of my family who had to eat dinners alone because I couldn't pull myself away from the story! I really like the author's style of writing as he writes in a way that really captures your imagination. The characters have depth and they left me feeling like I truly knew them. If you enjoy the fantasy realm with a dose of mythology, then this book is for you! I was overall very impressed with this book and would happily recommend it.
