I just finished reading "The Lion Of The Cross" and was just so impressed and enthralled. Author T.M. Carter delivers a fresh take on a dark part of history with a cracking storyline that had me glued to the pages throughout. You can tell the author did his homework on this subject matter. If you enjoy history, you will find this very interesting. Set in the 13th century it follows a boy named William as he is thrown in adulthood wither he likes it or not. You could also say it's thought provoking, because as with now this story is set against the backdrop of an uneasy peace between Christians and Muslims. It doesn't overwhelm you with so much historical information that you lose track of what's going on in the story line. A great read.
