I stayed up through the wee hours of the morning reading under my blankets! "Her Darkest Hour" by Yolonda Terrell-McMillon has twists and turns that are guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat (or bed!). The story of a teenager whose life gets turned upside down - and that's just the beginning! She finds out very quickly that the darkness is always closer than you think. Yolonda is a great, honest writer and this is a super read, even though it ended too soon: I think the author sacrificed character development in order to finish the book. Though she is a newcomer, one hopes we will not have to wait too long for her next work.
