"A New Menace" by Roger A. Price is an exciting gritty crime novel. John Burrows is back on the trail of an old enemy. Burrows is a fascinating character and I hope the author uses him in many future stories. The Book's cover makes you think its a Stephen King novel, which it isn't. I did like it very much, though. The story telling is good. It draws you in, keeps you turning the page, and gets your blood pumping at times. The Author is especially good at creating an atmosphere that engulfs you and heightens your suspense. For fans of the genre, It's a satisfying crime novel.
