'Bride Without a Groom' by Amy Lynch is a light, fun and fast read. Rebecca, is a shallow main character who, as the title suggests, is Groom-less. Straight up - I did not like Rebecca as a character; it is hard for me to like anyone who has an obsession like this. But she did make me laugh, and it's been a while since I've laughed so much while reading a book. It's also fast paced - I read it in two sitting! - as there are some genuinely funny scenes and some great, touching moments as well. So I am eager to see what Lynch will follow this up with!
