Beneath the Veil, is the first book in the Ravage Trilogy. We follow Seraph Maddon in a strange futuristic world as she battles "Officium", a paranoid corporation that has pretty much taken over the world. Creative worlds always require thought and imagination, and the author delivers! A fun, easy read with a story line that has you wanting to read on. The main characters are easy to imagine and easy to put a face on. The author has created a wonderful theme and context to this book. The story could have been stronger in parts and describing love making in literature can be cringe worthy at the best of times but this was quite enjoyable :) So in my opinion you can't go wrong with this thrilling romance with a sci-fi twist :)
