Chasing Heart is set in the real world of a Colombian town that has suffered with a violent past. Not the sort of place to holiday but just the sort of place for a novel's backdrop, providing some great thrills. Ellen Martin is a ambitious US lawyer, when her boss sends her to Colombia for some charity work. After arriving Ellen realises that there's more than one person who needs help; herself! A fun, easy read with a story line that has you wanting to read on. A story that will appeal to readers with a double dose of drama and suspense. The book seemed well thought out and not just thrown together. I was turning the pages as fast as I could to see how Ellen would confront her newfound danger. I'm looking forward to the next entry in this series!!
