Review of "In the Beginning"

"In the Beginning" by Abby L. Vandiver is a si/fi mystery that blends fact with fiction. The main character "Justin" descovers a hidden secert about the Dead Sea Scrolls that change everything. Abby has a writing style that keeps the reader involved and coming back. A story about family, friends and life. It was a little drawn out at times but has a fictional storyline that is both entertaining and plausible. It was filled with twists and turns, old history and new power struggles. The climax of this novel was fantastic, it felt like I had been drawn into a Hollywood blockbuster movie and as the story concludes, the reader is left in no doubt that there is more to come from the author. A thriller that packs a whole lot of punches and really captivates once you're in the thick of it. The characters grow on you and even though there were tough times they pulled through and that made the whole book a pleasure to read. I recommend this book and specially so if you have any interest in bibical history. It's definitely a different way to look at events that happened during this time.
