Review of Simon Duringer's "Stray Bullet"

"Stray Bullet" by Simon Duringer is well written and a good read. A cop wakes up in hospital with a bullet wound to the chest and an impaired memory. Told he’s a hero but something just doesn’t feel right. This is a good old-fashioned novel: plot driven with twists. There were a few chapters in the beginning which lulled a bit, but then it takes you on a wild ride. The writing is clean and brisk. It also has good character development even though its a short read - the book was read in just a few hours! I had no idea how it was going to end or how I thought it should end. You should get your nose in this book and leave it there for as long as it takes to finish it :) This story entertains and sustains.
