Review of Maryann Miller's "Boxes For Beds"

"Boxes For Beds" by author Maryann Miller provides a tense tale and an enjoyable read for anyone who is looking for a good mystery. A Historical mystery, set in Arkansas, U.S.A. The main character Leslie, moves from New York to Arkansas to begin a new life. After a number of kidnappings, Leslie becomes a suspect. A strong, compassionate lead character who I enjoyed reading about and her family and how they dealt the obstacles they faced. Some characters were a bit flat and it moves slowly at times but once the characters and the plots are in place, the pace and the strength of the writing pick up greatly. It is well written and engaging. Definitely worth your time and investment. I would read more books by this author. Well done.
