"The Little Witch" by Lucas Ege Mautner follows a young girl named Astrid Lamb, a teenager and leader of a revolutionary group that is trying to overthrowing the Magicians Guild. Along with some very interesting characters (and a cat!) this makes for a wonderful read. These characters are colourful and intriguing. The descriptions are imaginative and vivid. The story kept me entertained the whole way through with ups and downs and plenty of obstacles to overcome, never a dull moment. Over descriptive at times but a great read - I hope there are more coming!
