"Rising Tide: Dark Innocence" by Claudette Melanson is the story of a young woman emerging into adulthood as a vampire. This entertaining novel has a lush and sharp writing style that brings this familiar story to life in intricate ways that forge a connection with the reader. The book is great to read - intense, exciting, entertaining, and it draws you in really fast. The characters are well thought out. I truly loved it and can't say enough good things about it. If you are already a fan of paranormal romance, this book is a must read. This Author is on my "watch" list.
