"Voice of the Sword" by John Paul Catton is one of the more original fantasy books that I've come across in a while. Once I opened the first page, I was automatically sucked in! Myths, monsters & Gods! I absolutely loved this book. Readers can relate to the personality of Reiko, a Japanese-American schoolgirl. What an exciting way to get in introduced to Japanese mythology. This work was well written as I enjoyed the writer's style and as its only book One of the "Sword, Mirror, Jewel" Trilogy, I'm excited to see what book two has in store.
