"Billy and the Ear Elves" by Ayala Saar is a very colourful illustrated book with lessons about courtesy and polite behaviour. Not only are children with poor manners a little embarrassing, it is also an indicator that we have not fulfilled our full roles as parents. I'd set aside an hour with my 3 nephews, read a few pages myself, then I had them take turns reading pages as well. The kids and had a great time with the pictures and story, but I also found the kids learned many valuable and real-life lessons about how to act and behave like responsible young adults. A perfect book for children ages 4 - 8 :)
