"Amberley Heights: Echoes of the Past" by Jacqueline Alexander is a tale full of tension and atmosphere. And as the cover and title suggests, there is some dark goings-on at Amberley Heights. The author's story telling style kept the story moving and the plot twisting. I really liked the way she developed the storyline, it was both exciting and entertaining . With each page you could hardly wait to see what came next. Interesting characters, with my favourites being Anna and Felicity. Recommended for young teenagers and up. As the story is only beginning we will have to wait and see what comes next! - the ending sets it up nicely for the second book. This is the first book that I've read by Jacqueline and I'm looking forward to reading more.
