"Stir It Up" by David Dusty Cupples is a wonderful read about the CIA targeted Jamaica, Bob Marley and the Progressive Manley Government. The author has extensive knowledge of the period which makes for a thrilling and superb read. Excellent plot, fiery characters and solid writing with often descriptive prose. The work is ambitious as well as engrossing and addictive. With each page I could hardly wait to see how it would all came together. I found myself making up reasons to keep reading so I could find out what happened next. A well written and edited story that I recommend as a good weekend read.
