"The Mysterious Bakery On Rue De Paris" by Evie Gaughan is the story of Edith Lane, who swaps Ireland for Paris in search of new beginnings. And as the tile suggests the bakery is ‘mysterious’ :) This is a wonderful, captivating story with some really great supporting characters. The writing is spot on throughout. Each page of this book makes the reader anticipate turning the page to figure out more about the main character and the baffling circumstances around the bakery. Ultimately, this is a heartwarming story with many twists and turns. It will leave you feeling satisfied, like you've just eaten your favourite comfort food on a rainy day. I will read more books from this author in the future.
