"Before the Full Moon Rises" by M.J. Bell is a delightful story that will capture the young adult as well as the older reader. After his Mother disappears, Deston - a young teenager, moves to France and goes on an epic journey in the land of Tir na nOg. While the tale is fantasy, the backdrop of familiar legends adds a feeling of reality to the adventure that teases the reader. This book is very imaginative. The fairy world is fantastically written. The book unfolds into an adventure of mystery, bravery and best of all - magic. I recommend this book to everyone, even if you don't like magic or faeries.
