You never know quite what to expect when you pick up a book of short stories. It could be something wonderful or it could be something that you leave aside after reading a few pages - So and I'm happy to report that "Tales Most Strange" by Jeremy Hayes falls solidly within the former category on that one. I just loved these short stories and especially the scary ones! The writer has the skilful knack of telling a tale without bogging us down with details. Every story had a different concept and was very well written. I found myself engaged in each story from start to finish. I'm really glad I got to read this book.
