Welcome to the world of Syr Nebra. A world of city-states and warring nations. "Adversaries Together" by Daniel Casey offers plenty of grit, political corruption and fantasy adventure. This novel has many strange and interesting characters. At times it was hard to follow but I stuck with it because I had faith that the author was "going somewhere" with it and that faith was justified by the end. Maybe it should have been longer to flesh out more concepts. I recommend it to readers that enjoy action and getting lost in a political/scfi book.
