I'm always excited when I can find a new sci-fi author who can take genres in a new direction. So I'm happy to say that "this book is good!" This book had my head spinning wondering what is going to happen next! The story takes place in the future in a world recovering from war in a strict authoritarian society. The author has created a wonderful theme and context to this book that reminded me of science fiction writings of the past. The author, K.S Daniels combines rich, evocative prose with splendid entertainment. The perfect ingredients to making this a classic include its character development, technology descriptions, action, loss, loyalty, defeat, sacrifice, you name it and you will find it here. I recommend this book and specially so if you have any interest in science fiction.
